Breakfast Cook | Fulltime/Parttime | Café Kuyl for NH Schiller & NH Caransa

In Café Kuyl we provide breakfast for the guests of the NH Schiller hotel, in addition, we will soon also provide breakfast in the NH Caransa, across the square. We ensure that guests have a good start to the day with a hospitable welcome and a filled buffet.

After breakfast we open as Café Kuyl, this is a modern brown pub where we bring back the diversity that the old Schiller café had. We mainly serve local beers and food that is simple but qualitative and can be combined well with beer!
In addition to bringing people together, we bring together the old charms of the building with modern Amsterdam art.

With all these factors, we create an atmosphere that suits both the older generation of Amsterdammers and the new ones. Everyone is welcome, from a cup of coffee to a bite to eat or a drink with all your friends.

We are looking for a breakfast cook who can take responsibility for breakfast.

• You have good organizational skills and business acumen. You are also willing to work overtime sometimes, you are collegial and have a 'hands on' mentality.
• You prepare well and check whether all the necessities are present. You also communicate well with the chef what still needs to be done;
• You are proactive and know how to tackle. You do this quickly, accurately and you keep an overview and see what is happening around you. Even when it is busy you remain hospitable and friendly;
• You like to develop yourself. You get new information from training / education, but also from practice;
