Breakfast/Lunch Supervisor | Fulltime/Parttime | Café Kuyl for NH Schiller & NH Caransa
In Café Kuyl we provide breakfast for the guests of the NH Schiller hotel, in addition, we will soon also provide breakfast in the NH Caransa, across the square. We ensure that guests have a good start to the day with a hospitable welcome and a filled buffet.
After breakfast we open as Café Kuyl, this is a modern brown pub where we bring back the diversity that the old Schiller café had. We mainly serve local beers and food that is simple but qualitative and can be combined well with beer!
In addition to bringing people together, we bring together the old charms of the building with modern Amsterdam art.
With all these factors, we create an atmosphere that suits both the older generation of ´Amsterdammers´ and the new ones. Everyone is welcome, from a cup of coffee to a bite to eat or a drink with all your friends.
What we expect from you
- You like to pamper your guests and go the extra mile. You are also willing to help your colleagues by sometimes working overtime and filling in for your colleagues.
- You ensure that breakfast runs smoothly, both in terms of the guests and the buffet. You keep an overview and see what is happening around you, yet you remain hospitable and friendly even when it is busy;
- You think along with us about improvement possibilities for breakfast and ensure that the stock is always up to standard;
- You can work at least 3 shifts per week. You are flexible in your working hours because these will also be arranged on weekends;
- You are cozy and love the atmosphere that characterizes the hospitality industry;
In short, we are really just looking for someone who suits us and is not afraid to work hard. Because fortunately it is very often busy, so it is tackling and going to the limit every day to make our guest happy!
This is you
- Are you 18 years or older;
- Living in the Amsterdam area;
- Do you have hospitality experience;
- Are you socially strong (you know how to give guests a nice experience );
- Are you responsible;
- Can you work hard with a smile;
- Do you like to work in a team;
- You have a good command of the English language;
- Furthermore, you attach great importance to hospitality, you are proactive and ensure order and cleanliness.
