NH Amsterdam Leidseplein is situated in the south side of the city centre, right in front of Leidseplein which hosts tram stops from multiple directions. The Museum District and famous shopping streets like Leidsestraat and PC Hooftstraat are just a stone's throw away from the hotel. The city theatre, Vondelpark and some of the nicest cafes and restaurants in Amsterdam can also be found just around the corner. After a busy shift with occupied meeting rooms, group lunches and lots of check-ins, it is time for us to unwind and enjoy a well-deserved drink together at the lively Leidseplein. What are you going to do?
Quality and consistency are two important elements in the kitchen team. You will be responsible for overseeing an assigned kitchen station to ensure consistency of preparation according to the predefined recipes and product quality. Outside of the daily activities you will have the opportunity to make proposals to the Chef to improve the work processes and to contribute to the development of dishes and recipes. Together with the team you ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience in the field of Food & Beverage. Finally, you ensure that the HACCP rules are complied with and that your workplace is organized, clean and tidy. As Chef de Partie you report directly to the (Sous) Chef.
