Sales Internship | National Sales Office BeNeLux | Minor Hotels
The Sales Intern represents mainly the hotels in the BeNeLux region with a strong focus on all B2B segments per-hotel. The Sales Intern is engaged in mainly the National Sales Office, focus to Corporate and Meetings & Events (M&E) Department, but as well Airlines, DMC’s, TMC’s and Intermediary. Next to that, there is a strong relation with Revenue Management, the Group Sales Office & Organizers in all hotels - to work together. The Sales Intern has the opportunity and freedom to execute sales calls, analyze, build & execute on hotel sales plans for hotels with no active sales manager at that hotel.

Main tasks & responsibilities
- Mainly support the Director of Business Development (DBD) with projects (research, strategic (hotel/region) analyses, build business plans to execute by sales)
- Supporting the sales department with the day-to-day tasks
- CRM Support (C4C) for entire Sales team
- Account Assignation support & analyze Portfolio Performances
- Lead Management (dispatch and work on proposals yourself, meaning in direct touch with clients)
- Independent development and opportunity to execute on sales for hotels with non-active sales managers
- RFP Processing Lanyon & unmanaged RFP handling (both Corporate and Airlines)
- Corporate Contracting Loading support (both Corporate, Airline and M&E Requests)
- Performing research on external benchmark tools MiceView & Agency360 and set up strategic plans to execute yourself and in collaboration with Sales Managers & Account Managers
- Participating to “call projects” to accounts with the team, e.g., Conversion Focus Weeks (calling clients with running requests yourself and Bring It Back (Calling old client that organized meetings & events)
- Assisting/attending in organizing educational tours (fam. trips) + client events
- Adjusting and implementing data in the CRM/C4C database (via JIRA Ticket System)
- Support in administration, reporting & data analysis for general sales managers
- HR support
- Be aware of the SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure) and work accordingly
- Attending sales meetings for setting up meeting minutes and defined actions
- Participating to “On the Job” trainings and other work-related trainings
- GDPR alignment and consulting
- Induction training / go to person for questions
